2. Identification of Infringing Material

Identify the specific content on our platform that you claim infringes your copyright:

  • Contest entry ID or user profile (if applicable)
  • Description of where the content appears on our site
  • Screenshot or other evidence of the infringement

4. Good Faith Statement

A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. Accuracy Statement

A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Our Response Process

4. Counter-Notice Process

If you believe your content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. This process allows you to request restoration of your content.

Description and location of the content before removal

3. Good Faith Statement

What Happens Next

  • We forward your counter-notice to the original complainant
  • The complainant has 10-14 business days to file a court action
  • If no court action is filed, we may restore your content
  • If court action is filed, the content remains removed pending legal resolution

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

R.A.C.E. has a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We track copyright violations and take appropriate action to protect intellectual property rights.

6. False Claims and Penalties

Warning: Penalties for False Claims

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Please ensure your claims are accurate and made in good faith. Submitting false DMCA notices may result in legal action against you.
